Teenage girls of Mexican heritage sometimes want to celebrate a traditional Quinceañera in their fifteenth year. This celebration marks her transition from childhood to young womanhood, and is often very elaborate and important in a family’s life. But, let us be clear that too often families put too much importance on a Quinceañera celebration to the neglect of the sacraments. St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will not entertain the possibility of a Quinceañera if there is no indication that a family is taking their faith seriously.

If your family wishes to have a Quinceañera at St. John the Evangelist, please print the following Quinceañera Registration Form, fill it in, then turn it in to the Parish Office with the accompanying documentation. Once the Office has the completed form and documentation, we can discuss the date and time you wish to have the Quinceañera. You can also get a copy of the Quinceañera Registration Form from Mrs. Anna Quintero, Miss Jessica Martin, or the Parish Office.
