Summer 2019 Youth Ministry Update
Greetings on this Ascension Sunday as we celebrate our Risen Lord’s Triumphant entrance into heaven where he is now seated, in the flesh, at the right hand of our Heavenly Father! With this greeting, I am happy to announce our summer hire of Sammie Bernardi to sing at our Saturday Evening St. John the Evangelist Masses, scheduled Wednesday Night Youth Adoration, our Summer Parish Outdoor Concert, and throughout our July 7-14 Youth Pilgrimage to New Orleans and Steubenville Atlanta Teen Conference. Sammie is an extremely gifted musician who will enter into her Junior Year at Belmont University in Nashville - a well know school for up and coming musicians. Our hope is that Sammie’s Music Ministry will ignite our L.I.T. (Life Involves Teens; Love Involves Transformation) Youth Group. We are blessed to have an additional three college students accompanying our Teens to New Orleans this July, along with five committed adult chaperones.
