Kevin Wenzel, a High School Junior in Waynesville, is leading his Eagle Scout Project to build a Marian Grotto at St. John the Evangelist. The Grotto will be dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes in thanksgiving for prayers answered.

On the February 11, 2019 Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes St. John the Evangelist made an offer for a lot adjacent to the Church. This land will serve as a much needed recreation field for the parish youth and families.

The parish thanks Kevin Wenzel, his parents Dr. Chris and Georgiana Wenzel, and the teens who are assisting with the Eagle Scout Project. Our Lady of Lourdes Pray for Us!
