Greetings on this Ascension Sunday as we celebrate our Risen Lord’s Triumphant entrance into heaven where he is now seated, in the flesh, at the right hand of our Heavenly Father!
With this greeting, I am happy to announce our summer hire of Sammie Bernardi to sing at our Saturday Evening St. John the Evangelist Masses, scheduled Wednesday Night Youth Adoration, our Summer Parish Outdoor Concert, and throughout our July 7-14 Youth Pilgrimage to New Orleans and Steubenville Atlanta Teen Conference. Sammie is an extremely gifted musician who will enter into her Junior Year at Belmont University in Nashville – a well know school for up and coming musicians.
Our hope is that Sammie’s Music Ministry will ignite our L.I.T. (Life Involves Teens; Love Involves Transformation) Youth Group. We are blessed to have an additional three college students accompanying our Teens to New Orleans this July, along with five committed adult chaperones.

Sammie Bernardi’s Summer 2019 Music Ministry Schedule is the following:
5pm Saturday Mass: June 1, June 22, July 6, July 20.
Youth Adoration with Praise and Worship Music led by Sammie Bernardi – 6pm – 7pm (Adults Welcome too): June 19, July 24
Parish Summer Concert: Saturday, July 6 (6:30pm – 8:30pm) – weather permitting – on the outside cement balcony of the old church with Fr. Richard cooking burgers for teens. Inclement weather alternative – parish hall. Teen focus to concert, yet the entire parish is welcome. Come one; come all.
